Quality Pet Care Since 2010

Coastal K9 is a local, family-owned and operated pet care company proudly serving Ventura and Oxnard. We've been professionally caring for dogs and cats since 2010 and are a proud member of Pet Sitters International.

Every visit comes with a photo update sent straight to your phone, so you can relax knowing your pet and your home are in great hands while you're away.

Field Trips — $40 ⭐ Fan Favorite

We take your dog out for a real adventure — with coastal walks along the Ventura promenade, beach strolls, or a hike when the weather cooperates. Trips are approximately one hour once we arrive on location, always on-leash. Field trips are best suited for dogs with a friendly, social temperament who can comfortably pass other dogs. Not available during extreme heat or high tick season.

Trusted at the Ojai Valley Inn

Coastal K9 has been the trusted on-call pet caretaker for guests of the Ojai Valley Inn since 2010. Our number lives at the front desk — when guests traveling with their dogs and cats need someone they can count on, they call us.

The Inn's grounds are one of our favorite places to work. Shaded paths, beautiful trails, and plenty of squirrel-watching make for a walk that's as enjoyable for us as it is for the animals.

We split visits between potty breaks, walks, and quiet time inside the room, for a nice balance that keeps a pet content and relaxed in an unfamiliar place.

Every service we provide at the Inn is custom-tailored to the animal — their age, temperament, and what they actually need that day. It's the same standard we bring to every client, whether they're a hotel guest passing through or a Ventura local who counts on us every week.
